Mark Zuckerberg's Watch Collection
Last updated: June 2026
In roughly 18 months, Mark Zuckerberg went from a self-described non-watch person to one of the most-watched collectors in tech. The turn is well documented. At Anant Ambani's pre-wedding celebration in Jamnagar in March 2024, Zuckerberg got a look at Ambani's bespoke Richard Mille tourbillon and, as he later told Men's Journal, said: "I never really wanted a watch, but after seeing that, I was like, watches are cool." What he has assembled since is short, but it is serious.
Here is what is actually documented, who reported it, and roughly what each piece is worth. Dollar figures throughout are estimates, and values vary by condition, box and papers.

The watch that started it (and it isn't his)
The catalyst was not a watch Zuckerberg owns. At the March 2024 Ambani pre-wedding, he admired Ambani's bespoke Richard Mille RMS-10 "Koi Fish" tourbillon, a one-off reportedly valued around $1.25 million. Per Men's Journal, that piece is what flipped the switch. To be clear about who owns what: the Koi Fish belongs to Ambani. Zuckerberg admired it, he did not receive it. When the "Not that one!" moment circulated, it was Priscilla Chan joking that she would want one like it, not a gift changing hands. Everything else here, Zuckerberg put together himself.
The Greubel Forsey that broke the story
The first piece to draw real attention was on his left wrist in the January 7, 2025 video announcing the end of Meta's US fact-checking program. Watch media identified it as a Greubel Forsey Hand Made 1, and Greubel Forsey's CEO acknowledged the watch, per Bloomberg and Fortune. It is about as rare as modern watchmaking gets. Greubel Forsey makes only two or three a year, and the price is estimated at around $900,000. Nearly every component is finished by hand, which is the entire reason for the name.
F.P. Journe: the throughline
During his January 2025 appearance on Joe Rogan's podcast, Zuckerberg wore an F.P. Journe FFC, the watch the brand developed with filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola. It is one of the stranger objects in high-end watchmaking: a platinum case that tells the hours through an articulated titanium "hand," fingers that fold and extend to show the time. F.P. Journe makes fewer than 15 a year, and estimates put it in the $850,000 to $900,000 range. By his own account, Zuckerberg owns at least three F.P. Journes, which makes the brand the clearest throughline in his collection.
F.P. Journe is also one of the few brands here that we stock. The Octa Quantieme Perpetuel below is a different reference from the FFC, but it is the same maker Zuckerberg keeps coming back to.
The Patek he confirmed himself, and the De Bethune
Two more pieces are on the record. The Patek Philippe Grand Complications In-Line Perpetual Calendar 5236P is the rare case where the owner confirmed it himself: asked about the watch in an Instagram comment, Zuckerberg simply replied "5236P," per Business Insider and Revolution. It is platinum with a salmon dial and an in-line perpetual calendar display, estimated around $130,000 to $148,000. He has also been documented wearing a De Bethune DB25 Starry Varius, an estimated $80,000 to $95,000 piece with the brand's signature starry dial, made in the region of 20 a year, per Business Insider.
The $120 counterpoint
For all the six-figure metal, the most relatable watch attributed to him is a Casio G-Shock GA2100-series, the "CasiOak," which runs about $120. We read it as the everyman counterpoint to the rest of the list. It is a useful reminder that someone deep into independent watchmaking can still find room for a $120 quartz, and that price and obsession do not always move in the same direction.
