Vacheron Constantin Overseas Tourbillon 6000V/110A in Steel
The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Tourbillon 6000V/110A places a fully exposed tourbillon at 6 o'clock on the signature blue Overseas dial. The stainless steel case measures 42.5 mm across and just 10.39 mm thick, and inside is the self-winding caliber 2160 with an 80-hour power reserve.
The video makes the case that the most impressive part of this watch is how little the complication compromises the Overseas itself. It is thin, automatic and fitted with the Overseas interchangeable strap system, and the dial keeps the clean, seamless look of the collection with the tourbillon set right into it.

Vacheron Constantin Overseas Tourbillon 42.5mm Stainless Steel Blue Dial (Ref# 6000V/110A-B544) - $105,000

1. The Maltese Cross Tourbillon at 6 O'Clock
The tourbillon is the part of the dial the eye keeps returning to. Its cage is shaped around the Maltese cross, the Vacheron Constantin emblem, and the whole carriage sits completely exposed in its aperture at 6 o'clock. The small seconds are carried on the tourbillon itself.
On many tourbillons the entire dial is designed around the complication, with extra layers, apertures, bridges or displays leading the eye toward it. Here the blue Overseas dial stays almost completely intact, and the finished tourbillon sits at 6 o'clock as if it were floating. That restraint gives the complication more impact and keeps the rest of the watch feeling simple.
2. The Blue Overseas Dial
The dial is a classic modern Overseas. Vacheron's lacquered blue sunburst finish covers the center, contrasted by a velvet-finished minute track around the outside. The applied hour markers and hands are 18 karat white gold, filled with blue Super-LumiNova.
3. A Thin Steel Case for Daily Wear
For a full automatic tourbillon sports watch, these are surprisingly wearable dimensions. The stainless steel case is 42.5 mm in diameter and 10.39 mm thick. The daily specs are real as well: 50 meters of water resistance, antimagnetic protection and an 80-hour power reserve, almost four days.
4. Caliber 2160 and the Peripheral Rotor
Turn the watch over and caliber 2160 is on display through the sapphire caseback. It is a self-winding tourbillon movement made from 188 components, running at 2.5 hertz with an 80-hour power reserve. The clever part is how Vacheron winds it. A 22 karat gold peripheral rotor travels around the outside edge of the movement, so the automatic winding leaves the finishing and the architecture of the caliber in full view.
The movement itself is only 5.65 mm thick, which explains how the whole watch stays just over 10 mm. It also carries the Hallmark of Geneva, the certification for movements made and finished to the standards of the Canton of Geneva.
5. Bracelet, Rubber and Leather
The stainless steel bracelet uses Vacheron's tool-free interchangeable system, and it comes off in seconds. The watch is also supplied with a dark blue rubber strap and a dark blue leather strap. On the bracelet it has the full integrated sports watch look. On the rubber, a tourbillon becomes surprisingly casual. The leather brings it back toward the traditional side of Vacheron. The full process is covered in our guide to changing an Overseas bracelet or strap.

The video's closing point is about character. A tourbillon can easily become the entire identity of a watch, a constant reminder of how difficult and expensive it is to make. On the 6000V/110A it reads as a touch of class and heritage added to an outgoing, approachable sports watch. The playful blue sunburst, the integrated steel bracelet and the Maltese cross design language are all still here, and the watch keeps the versatility that makes the Overseas recognizable. The pink gold Overseas Tourbillon Skeleton 6000V/210R takes the same caliber in an openworked direction.
