One Watch Collection by Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, and Gerrard Peregaux

Introduction

Today, Watches Off 5th wants to share with you guys seven watches that we feel are "do it all" watches that can be dressed up or dressed down. Maybe you're just getting into watches, or maybe you've built a collection of nice pieces and want to consolidate into a bigger piece that you can still wear. Today we'll show you some of the best daily drivers in the luxury timepiece space at a variety of price points.

1. Rolex Datejust with Gold Motif dial (Ref# 126233)

Rolex Datejust 126233 gold motif dial shown on hand

This piece has a beautiful gold motif dial, a two-tone oyster bracelet, and a gold bezel. The two-tone bracelet makes it a little extra fancy, and it can easily be dressed up or dressed down.

We love the motif dial because it makes the dial a little bit more elevated and interesting than your simple "plain jane" dial. Because of the 36-millimeter size, this is a great unisex piece that can be shared between men and women.

2. Rolex Submariner Stainless Steel "The Hulk"  (Ref# 116610LV)

Rolex Submariner "The Hulk" stainless steel with green bezel and dial Reference# 116610LV

Next up, we have a Hulk Submariner, reference number 116610LV. This watch really speaks for itself with the green bezel and dial.

It's just an overall really cool look and it has been discontinued for a while now. So it is hard to get at this point. I would consider this a collector's piece for sure.

3. Girard Perregaux Laureato (Ref# 81010-11-431-11A)

Girard Perregaux Laureato 81010-11-431-11A stainless steel with blue dial shown on hand

Next up, we have a GP Laureato, reference number 81010. It is a fairly simple watch, but is a beautiful all-rounder with a very pleasing tapisserie-like dial that is super textured and a beautiful blue color.

Some might say it's just a cheaper alternative to the Royal Oak or the Nautilus, but we don't see it that way—this watch has its own history and heritage. All three of these watches came out in the 1970s, and the GP Laureato is definitely more affordable than the Royal Oak or the Nautilus.

4. Rolex Sky-Dweller White Rolesor - Blue Index Dial - Oyster Bracelet (Ref# 326934)

Rolex Sky-Dweller stainless steel blue with dial, shown on hand. Reference#: 326934

Next up, we have the most popular variation of the stainless steel sky dweller, the blue dial. The Sky-Dweller is Rolex's most complicated piece. The technology inside this watch is insane.

This blue color dial with the stainless steel is really gorgeous along with the white gold bezel that you can basically control all aspects of the watch with. This is a great travel watch, a great do it all watch, and overall, it's beautiful.

5. Rolex Day-Date White Gold (Ref# 228239)

Rolex Day-Date in white gold with a green dial. Reference number 228239

Next up, we have a White Gold Day-Date with an olive green dial. This is reference number 228239. There's nothing like a presidential bracelet with a fluted bezel. This is the perfect all-around, do-it-all watch.

6. Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo Extra-thin (Ref# 16202BC.OO.1240BC.02)

AP Royal Oak Jumbo - 16202BC with blue textured dial.

Next up. We have the AP Jumbo Royal Oak reference number 16202 BC.

This watch has a grainy blue dial and is made entirely out of white gold. I feel like this style adds a little bit of a different texture that we usually don't see from AP. We used to see that tapisserie pattern. The thinness of this watch and the overall design make it that much more wearable and flattering on the wrist compared to the Standard Royal Oak.

This probably won't be the first watch in your collection. But if I see someone wearing this watch, I'm sure they have a great watch collection already growing.

7. Patek Philippe Nautilus (Ref# 5711/1R-001)

Rose Gold Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711/1R-001 shown on hand

Last but not least, we have a Patek Philippe Nautilus reference number 5711/1R-001. This has a chocolate dial and a rose gold bracelet in case. Although the chocolate dial and the rose gold combo is super beautiful, it definitely makes it the least "stealth wealth" out of all of these pieces.

This watch is probably the hardest to wear on an everyday basis. But, if the is the type of watch you can afford and that goes with your lifestyle, I can definitely see this being dressed down or dressed up. Remember, this watch is super powerful and definitely makes a statement every time you wear it.
