Rolex Datejust 41 Olive Green Sunray Dial: Ref. 126333-0024

Rolex put an olive green sunray dial into the Datejust 41 for 2026, and reference 126333-0024 is the configuration that leans furthest into it. Yellow Rolesor case, 18 ct yellow gold fluted bezel, gold Roman numerals, and a Jubilee bracelet. It is a modern Datejust with a little vintage glow. This unboxing covers what the watch looks like coming out of the box, what it measures on our calipers, how it sits on a 7 inch wrist, and what is running inside.

The Olive Green Sunray Dial

The sunray finish is what makes this dial worth talking about. Light runs out from the center of the dial and the color moves with it. In one position the green reads deep and calm, and at another angle it comes up brighter and more alive. It is the same dial doing two different things depending on where you are standing.

The sunray finish shifting between deep and bright as the angle changes.

The gold Roman numerals are what pull the whole thing toward a vintage Rolex feeling while the watch itself stays current. Applied gold markers against olive green is a warm combination, and it keeps the dial from reading as a plain color swap.

Green dial, yellow gold, fluted bezel, Jubilee bracelet. On paper that sounds like a lot of watch. In person it balances out, and the result is a Datejust that feels a little more special than the standard configurations.

The 41 mm Yellow Rolesor Case, Measured

The Datejust 41 in Yellow Rolesor presented on a black leather display stand.

Yellow Rolesor is Rolex's combination of Oystersteel and 18 ct yellow gold in one case. The steel carries the structure and the gold carries the warmth, and on the Datejust that pairing has been running for decades.

Rolex lists the case at 41 mm across and does not publish official lug-to-lug or thickness figures for individual models. So we measured it. Our calipers came back at 46.5 mm lug to lug and 11.4 mm thick, which lines up with the 46 to 47 mm range these commonly measure. Treat those as reference numbers taken in our office.

Reference measurements taken in our office: 46.5 mm lug to lug, 11.4 mm thick.

Water resistance is 100 m behind the screw-down Twinlock crown, with a sapphire crystal and the Cyclops lens sitting over the date. That covers daily life without any thought about it.

On a 7 inch wrist the 41 mm case sits the way a Datejust 41 should. The lugs stay inside the wrist and the Jubilee follows the curve.

Jubilee Bracelet and Oysterclasp

The Jubilee is the five-piece link bracelet Rolex introduced in 1945, here in Yellow Rolesor to match the case. It is the softer of the two bracelet options on this reference, and it takes some of the edge off the two-tone look by breaking the gold into smaller segments.

It closes with a folding Oysterclasp carrying Rolex's Easylink extension, worth about 5 mm of extra length with no tools involved. Flip it open and the bracelet loosens by roughly half a link. That is the feature you appreciate in summer, when a wrist swells over the course of a day.

Inside: Caliber 3235

Inside is the Rolex caliber 3235, an automatic movement with roughly 70 hours of power reserve. It runs a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and sits on Paraflex shock absorbers, which is how it holds its rate through knocks and magnetic fields. Functions are centre hours, minutes and seconds, an instantaneous date with rapid setting, and stop-seconds for setting the time precisely.

The finished watch is certified as a Superlative Chronometer, Rolex's own standard of -2/+2 seconds per day, tested after the movement is cased. Seventy hours of reserve means you can take it off on Friday evening and it is still running Monday morning.

The Datejust has always known how to move between rooms. It works under a cuff at the office, it comes out at dinner, and it still makes sense as the watch you wear every day. This configuration does all of that with more warmth and color than the standard steel versions, and it manages it without ever looking like you are trying too hard.

That is the trick with this one. It feels special and it stays practical, which is why the Datejust family has lasted as long as it has. It just never feels out of place.
