This Rolex Daytona Ref. 126576TBR is crafted entirely in platinum with a 40mm case and an ice blue dial set with factory diamonds. Surrounding it is a brilliant diamond-set bezel. Inside beats Rolex’s new-generation Automatic Caliber 4131, introduced in 2023 with improved efficiency and precision.

This watch is one of the most elevated modern Daytonas Rolex produces. The ice-blue dial is reserved exclusively for platinum models, and the combination of precious metal and gem-setting places the 126576TBR in a category closer to high jewelry than to a traditional sports watch while still remaining unmistakably a Daytona.

Wear it to Monaco, the opera, or a yacht off Portofino.

Video: Unboxing the Rolex Platinum Daytona 126576TBR: Ice Blue Dial and Diamond Bezel

The Cosmograph Daytona in platinum, reference 126576TBR, pairs the ice blue dial Rolex reserves for the platinum Daytona with a factory diamond bezel and baguette-cut diamond hour markers. That combination sits near the top of Rolex's catalog. We have unboxed plenty of Daytonas, and this is the first time we have handled the ice blue dial framed this way. Here is a full look at what came out of the box.

The Ice Blue Dial and Diamond Bezel

The ice blue dial is reserved for the platinum Daytona, so the color alone tells you what metal you are holding. What sets this reference apart is everything around and on top of that dial. The bezel is set with factory baguette-cut diamonds, and the hour markers are baguette diamonds as well. The whole watch reads as one monochromatic, icy look, and the diamonds are the only thing that interrupts it.

The layout is the standard Daytona chronograph. You get small running seconds at six, a thirty-minute counter at three, and a twelve-hour counter at nine, all in the same ice blue tone as the main dial. The baguette markers sharpen everything up without shouting. One detail worth pointing out: the only lumed parts of the watch are the hour and minute hands. Nothing else glows.

Size, Weight, and How It Wears

On paper this is still a 40mm Daytona, so it keeps that compact footprint. On our calipers the lug-to-lug read 47.6mm. The difference you feel is the metal. Platinum is dense, and you notice it the second you pick the watch up.

Lug-to-lug came in around 47.6mm on our calipers.

We put it on the scale and it came in at 275 grams. That is over half a pound, and almost all of it is the platinum case and bracelet. The case stays a compact 40mm, so all of that presence comes from how dense the platinum is. On the wrist it still wears compact, and the weight reminds you what you have on the whole time you wear it.

Caliber 4131 and the Display Caseback

Inside is Rolex's caliber 4131, the current-generation Daytona chronograph movement introduced with the 2023 update. Here you can actually see it, because this platinum Daytona has a sapphire display caseback. That is uncommon for Rolex, which runs a solid back on most of the lineup. The back is engraved Pt950, and the movement sits right there behind the crystal with its gold rotor on view.

The Platinum Oyster Bracelet

The watch is fitted on a full platinum Oyster bracelet, and that bracelet is a big part of the 275 grams. The clasp is an Oysterlock with the Easy-link comfort extension, which gives you about 5mm of quick adjustment without tools. It is solid and well balanced, and it finishes the icy, all-platinum look the dial and bezel start.

Where It Sits and Availability

This is one of the pieces that runs with the grails, the platinum and gem-set watches at the top of the market. We have this one listed at $245,000. A platinum Daytona with a factory diamond bezel and a diamond dial is not something we see come through often, and when one does it does not stay long. If you want to see more of it or talk it through, reach out and we will walk you through what we have.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Rolex reference 126576TBR?

It is the Cosmograph Daytona in 950 platinum with an ice blue diamond-set dial, baguette diamond hour markers, and a factory baguette diamond bezel. The case is 40mm, it runs on the caliber 4131 chronograph movement, and it comes on a matching platinum Oyster bracelet.

Is the ice blue dial only on platinum Daytonas?

Yes. Rolex reserves the ice blue dial for the platinum Daytona, so the color is a quick way to tell the metal at a glance. On the 126576TBR that ice blue base is paired with diamond markers and a diamond bezel for the full gem-set version.

Does the platinum Daytona have a display caseback?

This one does. The 126576TBR has a sapphire display caseback that shows the caliber 4131 and its gold rotor, which is unusual for Rolex since most of the lineup uses a solid back. The caseback is engraved Pt950 for the platinum case.

How much does the 126576TBR weigh?

On our scale the full watch came in at 275 grams, which is over half a pound. Nearly all of that is the platinum case and Oyster bracelet. The case itself stays a compact 40mm, so the heft comes from the density of the platinum.

How much does the Rolex 126576TBR cost, and where can I buy one?

We have this platinum Daytona listed at $245,000. Gem-set platinum references are quoted on their own because the stones and condition vary from piece to piece, so a diamond bezel and diamond dial version like this one is priced individually. It is not a watch that comes through often, so availability comes down to what we have in stock at the time.
