Patek Philippe Milan 2026 Limited Editions: All Seven Watch Art Watches, Specs and Prices
Last updated: October 1, 2026
Patek Philippe has released seven limited editions for its Watch Art Grand Exhibition in Milan, which runs October 2 to 18, 2026. There are 685 pieces in total across seven references. The two World Time Minute Repeaters 5531G-012 and 5531G-013 carry enamel maps of Milan and are made in 5 pieces each. The steel Aquanaut 5167A-014 is the largest run, at 250 pieces. US retail on patek.com runs from $43,761 to $874,200 before tax. Fratello, Revolution, SJX and Hodinkee all report that the editions are intended for the Italian market.
Every one of the seven has "Patek Philippe Milano 2026" on the caseback. Four of them, the 5978P, 7047G, 7147G and 7007G, have a small tab in the colors of the Italian flag on the strap. Two have calendars written in Italian, and the two World Time models list their cities in Italian with Milano in red.
We are a grey market dealer with no authorized relationship to Patek Philippe. Every Patek price in US dollars below is Patek's suggested US retail before tax, read from patek.com on October 1, 2026. 5531G-012 and 5531G-013: Milan in Cloisonné Enamel
The two 5531G models are the most expensive and the rarest of the seven, with only ten made between them. Each pairs a World Time with a minute repeater, in a 40.2mm white gold case 11.49mm thick. The center of the dial is a Grand Feu cloisonné enamel map of central Milan: by day on the 5531G-012, by night on the 5531G-013. SJX describes the day version with white enamel streets and pale terracotta roofs, and the night version with bright yellow streets. Both SJX and Giornale degli Orologi name the Duomo on the map, and Giornale degli Orologi adds the green of Parco Sempione.
Patek's documentation for the day version lists 45cm of gold wire and 16 enamel colors in the dial. Hodinkee and SJX report the dials are signed by the enameller Anita Porchet. The 24 cities on the outer ring are written in Italian (Londra, Mosca, Messico) with Milano in red.

The self-winding caliber R 27 HU strikes the time on two gongs. It chimes the local time of whichever city is set at 12 o'clock, a function Patek has patented. Once you set a new home city at 12 o'clock, the repeater chimes that city's time. The caseband and repeater slide are hand-guilloché in a hobnail pattern. Each watch comes with two casebacks, one sapphire and one solid white gold engraved "Patek Philippe Milano 2026". Patek rates the case as protected against dust and humidity only, so it is not water-resistant. The day version is on a light brown calfskin strap and the night version on dark blue, both with a white gold folding clasp.

5978P-010: A New Perpetual Calendar Chronograph
The 5978P is a new reference with a new movement. It is a chronograph with an instantaneous perpetual calendar, which means the day, date and month all change at once at midnight. The new hand-wound caliber CH 29-535 PS QI has 500 parts and runs 55 to 65 hours with the chronograph off. The dial shows day/night and moon phases, and the 30-minute counter jumps instantly. The calendar is printed in Italian in arched windows framed in white gold.
The case is 42mm platinum, 14.24mm thick, with a diamond set at 6 o'clock. The navy sunburst dial fades to black at the edge, and the chronograph hands are varnished red. It comes on a navy composite strap with a fabric pattern and red stitching, a tricolore tab and a platinum folding clasp, and it is water-resistant to 30m. Hodinkee counts it as only the seventh perpetual calendar chronograph in Patek's history, following the 1518, 2499, 3970, 5020, 5970 and 5270.
Red, White and Green: 7047G-010, 7007G-010 and 7147G-010
Three 38mm white gold watches share a lacquer dial with a "carbon" pattern worked into the center, one each in red, white and green. Hodinkee, Fratello and Monochrome read them as the Italian flag. Patek's own copy makes the flag link only on the green 7147G and on the tricolore tab on each strap. Fratello and Hodinkee both report that the red 7047G is Thierry Stern's favorite of the set.

7047G-010, red (5 pieces, $707,074). A minute repeater on two gongs, powered by the self-winding micro-rotor caliber R 27 PS, with small seconds at 6. Patek says the red lacquer evokes "the bodywork of the finest automobiles." The case is 10.24mm thick and, like the 5531G, is not water-resistant. It comes on a shiny red alligator strap with a white gold buckle, and Patek delivers it with a watch winder. The catalog 7047G launched at Watches and Wonders this April.
7007G-010, white (200 pieces, $47,512). A time-and-date Calatrava with sweep seconds, 8.81mm thick, using the self-winding caliber 26-330 S C. The numerals and hands are charcoal grey on white lacquer, with the date at 3. Monochrome describes it as inspired by the Calatrava 6007, and Fratello notes it is 2mm smaller than the 40mm 6007. It is the least expensive of the three white gold pieces, on a white alligator strap.
7147G-010, green (100 pieces, $137,535). A perpetual calendar with moon phases at 6, driven by the 3.88mm-thick micro-rotor caliber 240 Q, in a case 9.72mm thick. Day, date, month, leap year and a 24-hour indicator are shown by hands, and the day and month names are in Italian. Hodinkee calls the 7147G another new reference. As long as it stays wound and set, you will not have to correct the date until 2100. It comes on a green alligator strap and is water-resistant to 30m.
For the catalog side of these families, see our guide to Patek Philippe Grand Complications and our 5374G minute repeater perpetual calendar unboxing.
Aquanaut 5167A-014
The 5167A-014 is the steel Aquanaut in its standard 40.8mm case, 8.1mm thick, with the self-winding caliber 26-330 S C. The embossed Aquanaut dial is a sunburst blue fading to black at the edge. The minute track and the sweep seconds hand are red, and the white gold numerals carry luminous coating. It comes on a midnight-blue composite strap with the Aquanaut pattern and a steel folding clasp, and it is water-resistant to 30m with a screw-down crown. The sapphire caseback is printed "Patek Philippe Milano 2026".
The Aquanaut has had a city edition before. Hodinkee notes that Patek made the 5167A-012 in 500 pieces for the Singapore exhibition in 2019. For the catalog 5167A-001, see our 5167A-001 unboxing.
Milan Editions vs the Catalog Versions
Three of the Milan watches have a direct catalog counterpart with a published US price on patek.com.
| Watch | Milan 2026 edition | Catalog version |
|---|---|---|
| Aquanaut, steel | 5167A-014 · $43,761 · 250 pieces | 5167A-001 · $27,257 |
| World Time Minute Repeater, 40.2mm white gold | 5531G-012 and -013 · $874,200 · 5 pieces each | 5531G-001 · $825,862 |
| Minute Repeater, 38mm white gold | 7047G-010 · $707,074 · 5 pieces | 7047G-001 · $572,087 |
Both figures are patek.com US prices before tax, checked the same day. Patek cut its US prices in February 2026, so older retail figures for the catalog models will not match these.
The Watch Art Grand Exhibition
Milan is the seventh Watch Art Grand Exhibition. Patek lists the earlier editions as Dubai (2012), Munich (2013), London (2015), New York (2017), Singapore (2019) and Tokyo (2023). This one is at CityOval in the CityLife district, October 2 to 18, 2026, with free entry after registering online. Fratello reports more than 500 watches and objects on show. Hodinkee reports that Patek also introduced 25 Rare Handcrafts pieces on Italian themes for the exhibition, separate from the seven watches above.
The launch coverage treats these as Italian-market watches. Patek's product pages say only that they mark the Milan exhibition. For how Patek routes new releases, see why Patek Philippe boutiques get new releases first. We will add grey market prices here once these pieces start to trade.
