Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 37mm 77605OK in Pink Gold
The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 77605OK is the 37 mm self-winding Offshore in 18k pink gold, with a gold bezel covered in grey rubber and an ivory Grande Tapisserie dial. The pink gold and grey rubber set the tone, and the dial brings the combination together, shifting from a mirrored finish to an almost flat grey as the light changes.
In the video, that combination gives the smaller Offshore a futuristic look while keeping the bold Royal Oak presence.

1. The 37 mm Case
Audemars Piguet lists the case at 37 mm across and 12.1 mm thick, with 50 meters of water resistance. On a 7-inch wrist it wears on the smaller side, and the video is happy with that. The Royal Oak shape still looks large and in charge, and there is enough weight in the gold for the watch to feel substantial.
Measured at 47.1 mm lug to lug, 12.0 mm thick and 148.0 grams (0.3265 lb, roughly a third of a pound)
2. Pink Gold and a Rubber-Clad Bezel
The case is 18k pink gold, and the grey bezel is gold as well, covered in rubber. That is where the two-tone look comes from: warm gold against cool grey rubber. The video credits that pairing for the watch's futuristic feel.
3. The Grande Tapisserie Dial
Audemars Piguet describes the dial as ivory, mirror-polished Grande Tapisserie, with luminescent pink gold hands and hour markers. In person, it shifts from a bright mirrored look to an almost flat grey with the smallest movement.
One dial, two looks: the pattern standing out in one light and reading almost flat in another
That shift is what the video finds fun about this watch. The appeal is the effect as much as the pattern, since the dial changes its look every time the wrist moves.
4. Caliber 5900
Inside is the automatic caliber 5900, with a 60-hour power reserve, running the hours, minutes, seconds and date. Turn the watch over and the movement is on view through the sapphire caseback.
5. Mosaic-Effect Rubber Strap
The grey rubber strap carries a mosaic-effect texture and closes with an 18k pink gold pin buckle. Audemars Piguet supplies an additional black rubber strap with the reference, and the interchangeable strap system lets the watch move between the grey, the black or a different strap altogether.
Shako likes the grey for the way it ties everything together, and can see the darker strap bringing the gold forward.
6. Grey and Gold
For Shako, the grey and gold combination is what makes this watch work. There is enough warmth in the gold, and enough futuristic elegance, to dress it up with a simple strap change. At 37 mm it still looks like a bold, futuristic Offshore, one that does not need to take over the entire wrist, and the video calls that size a deliberate choice.
