This is the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Self-Winding Flying Tourbillon in titanium, reference 26534TI, and it is one of only 50 that AP made. We got one in, filmed the unboxing, and it is the kind of watch that makes you keep turning it in the light instead of checking the time. Green Grande Tapisserie dial, a flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock, and a full titanium case and bracelet that weighs almost nothing. Here is what stood out with it in hand.
First Look Out of the Box
AP ships it in the green Le Brassus box, and the presentation matches the watch. Once it is out, the first thing you notice is what you do not feel. This is a 41 mm tourbillon you can wear all day and barely register on the arm.

The Green Grande Tapisserie Dial
The dial is what people react to first when we show it. The green Grande Tapisserie pattern is the small waffle texture AP is known for, and in this color it shifts as the light moves across it, from a deep forest green to a brighter emerald depending on the angle. The applied white gold markers and the AP signature keep it clean. There is no date and no seconds sub-dial to crowd it. Just the hours, the minutes, and the tourbillon.

Titanium: Size and Weight
Titanium is doing the heavy lifting here, or rather the opposite. The case measures 41 mm, and because the lugs run straight into the bracelet the way every Royal Oak does, it sits flat and wears close. On our calipers it spans a little past 50 mm from top to bottom, so it reads larger than 41 mm on the wrist while still sitting comfortably.

On the scale the complete watch came in at 117.9 grams. For a full metal bracelet watch with a tourbillon, that is light. You get the size and the presence of a Royal Oak without the heft of a steel or gold one.

The Flying Tourbillon and Calibre 2950
Turn it over and the caseback is open, so you can watch the movement run. This is the self-winding Calibre AP 2950, an automatic flying tourbillon, and the rotor keeps it wound while you wear it. The tourbillon sits at 6 o'clock with no upper bridge over the cage, which is what makes it a flying tourbillon. The caseback is engraved "Limited Edition, one of 50 pieces."

The finishing is a big part of what you pay for at this level. The bridges are beveled and polished by hand, and it holds up under a loupe.

Bracelet and Case Finishing
The titanium bracelet is pure Royal Oak, with brushed links and polished bevels running down the center. The case carries the same mix of brushed tops and mirror-polished chamfers, and titanium takes both finishes well even if it is harder to work than steel. It tapers into a slim clasp and feels like one piece with the case.
